I want to draw your attention to a great resource surrounding the film that you may have overlooked.  There are currently three podcasts in the ITSRG Community Call series over at Talkshoe that focus on the issues that surround the creation of this film.  The podcasts give you an inside glimpse into the questions that arise as we develop this film and the associated research around the film project.

Here is a look at what each of the three podcasts focus on:

The first podcast in the series is a conversation between director Eran Preis and ITSRG program manager Caroline Guigar. The first podcast is an introduction to the film project, the Preis family and how Eran is exploring the experience of paranoid schizophrenia with a close family member.

The second podcast in the series is a frank discussion about the challenges of  living with paranoid schizophrenia between Eran and Dr. Ralph Spiga, who has worked extensively with the mental illness and addiction. Dr. Spiga discusses that barriers that face families and individuals who are navigating mental illness and communities.

The third podcast introduces Dr. Michele Masucci and Dr. Mike Dorn.  Dr. Masucci and Dr. Dorn discuss the geographies of mental illness as it relates to the film and how social media might help to begin to address t he issues of stigma for families as they try to gain support for the indivduals in their lives who are living with mental illness.
